Honors at Indiana University Southeast

The Honors Program at Indiana university Southeast is designed to serve the needs and interests of highly motivated students who see stimulating and and exciting academic experiences and formal recognition for completeing a challenging program.

At IU Southeast, you'll find intellectual challenge in an environmetn and community that will mold you into a motivated leader and thinker. In the Honors Program, you can conduct original research with faculty who will challenge your mind and move you to change the world around you. Or, if you like, you can design your own applied project, put it into action, and see the results before you even graduate.

Further, if you take advantage of the study abroad opportunities the University offers, you'll expand your mind by seeing other cultures, other people and other ways of thinking. Plus, you may become more fluent in French, German, or Spanish than you ever thought you'd be. As a student in the Honors Program, you'll have many opportunities for academic success that extend far beyond your education at IU Southeast.

The Honors designation on your transcript and medallion bestowed prior to graduation are tokens of achievement, but that achievement continues after college, whether in graduate school, the workplace, or some other exceptional endeavor.
