IUS Admissions: Partners Program

Partners was developed by Indiana University Southeast to help students prepare for the expectations of university coursework. Students whose admission is deferred by IU Southeast are encouraged to enroll in the Partners Program. Students who successfully complete the Partners Program are GUARANTEED ADMISSION to Indiana University Southeast.

We are hopeful that you will continue to pursue your educational goals through Partners. Representitives from IU Southeast visit Ivy Tech Community College and Jefferson Community & Technical College throughout each semester. Please plan to stop by and ask any questions you may have.

Program Requirements

Follow these steps to complete Partners:

1. Apply for admission to Ivy Tech Community College Sellersburg or Madison or Jefferson Community & Technical College

2. Complete assessment tests and any review courses required

3. Complete and earn a C or better in each course, and a 2.0 overall gpa in your assigned track

4. Contact Admissions at IU Southeast to update your application.

Housing

Students participating in Partners may be eligible to live in residence hall lodges at IU Southeast. Contact the Residence Life and Housing Office for details 812/941-2115 or www.ius.edu/housing.

Visit with IUS

We invite all participants in the Partners program to stay in touch with IUS. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to gather information and get your questions answered!

Individual Appointments: Schedule an individual appointment with an admissions counselor by calling 812/941-2212
On Your Campus IUS will have representatives at several Ivy Tech and JCTC campuses throughout each semester.
Daily Tours leave from the Admissions Office each Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A Student Ambassadors will lead you through the campus and answer your questions. Tours usually last between 30-45 minutes. Call 812/941-2212 to reserve your spot.
