Partners Program

Partners is an academic support program that helps students strengthen their abilities, improve their study skills and earn college credit prior to enrolling at Indiana University Southeast. Partners was developed by Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University Southeast to help students prepare for the expectations of university coursework.

Students whose admission is deferred by IU Southeast are encouraged to enroll in the Partners Program at Ivy Tech. IU Southeast wants to equip you with the skills necessary to succeed in your educational goals. Students who successfully complete the Partners Program are GUARANTEED ADMISSION to Indiana University Southeast.

Program Requirements

Apply to Ivy Tech (Ivy Tech Application)
Complete Ivy Tech Assessment tests
Complete any review courses required by Ivy Tech
Complete ENG 111 & MATH 111 with a "C" or better
Complete 6 more credit hours of transferable course work with a "C" or better - 2.0 g.p.a.

Visit with IUS

We invite all participants in the Partners program to stay in touch with IUS. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to gather information and get your questions answered!

Individual Appointments: Schedule an individual appointment with an admissions counselor by calling 812/941-2212
On Your Campus IUS will have representatives at each Ivy Tech Campus throughout each semester.
Daily Tours leave from the Admissions Office each Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A Student Ambassadors will lead you through the campus and answer your questions. Tours usually last between 30-45 minutes. Call 812/941-2212 to reserve your spot.
