See the Grenadiers face off against Alice Lloyd College on 2/11/12.  Women's game at 2 p.m. and men's game at 4 p.m.  Free pizza, half-time activities, games, and prizes.  Don't miss it!

IU SOUTHEAST DAY AT THE FRAZIER HISTORY MUSEUM

IU Southeast and the IU Southeast Alumni Association is hosting an "IU Southeast Day" at the Frazier History Museum.  Special discounted admission rate of $5 for adults and children 17 and under are free.  Welcome program at 9:30 a.m.  Personalized museum tours by costumed interpreters at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Contact defuchs@ius.edu for ticket purchase.  No tickets sold at the door.

IU SOUTHEAST VICTORIAN TEA

The annual IU Southeast Victorian Tea will beheld on March 3, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Culbertson Mansion in New Albany.  Cost is $15 per person.  Join us for delicious goodies, personalized tour of the mansion and short program.  Contact defuchs@ius.edu for ticket purchase.  No tickets sold at the door.

CHARLES AND JO ANN LINSMITH SCHOLARSHIP

Applications are now being accepted for th 2012 Charles and Jo Ann Linsmith Scholarship.  These scholarships will be awarded in the spring and the number and amounts (minimum $2000 each) will be determined by the Linsmith Scholarship Committee.  Contact defuchs@ius.edu for additional information regarding qualifications for this scholarship as well as an application form.  Applications must be received prior to March 30, 2012.

IU LICENSE PLATE RISES TO NUMBER ONE OVERALL

After two decades of leading the collegiate category in number of license plates on the road, the IU plate in 2011 vaulted to the top of all speciality plates in the state of Indiana, according to a January report from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.  For each IU plate sold, a portion of the revenue goes to the IU Alumni Association, which manages IU's license-plate program and uses the funds for a wide range of programs and services.  For more information about the IU plate, including how to order one, visit http://www.in.gov/bmv/2731.htm.

BRIDGE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

The Indiana University Alumni Association is launching a "Bridge Membership" program to help unemployed alumni.  This complimentary one-year membership provides access to online career services, the alumni directory for networking, and upcoming webinars and group coaching sessions.  See http://alumni.indiana.edu/career/ for more information.  Alumni must call the Indiana University Alumni Association and speak to the membership department to sign up for this program, they may not sign up online.

NEW IU SOUTHEAST LIBRARY WEBSITE FOR ALUMNI
