Commencement 2012

CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATE!

IU Southeast's Commencement is Monday, May 7, 2012 - 4 p.m. - IU Southeast Amphitheater.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR YOUR CALENDAR!

Deadline to file an "Application for Graduation" with your school office is March 1.  Late applications or a failure to file will result in your name NOT appearing in the official 2012 Commencement Program.

Order Your Regalia before MARCH 19

A custom IU cap and gown must be worn by all degree recipients who participate in the ceremony.  Custom IU gowns can be rented online from Herff-Jones at www.herffjones.com/iu.  Class ring and announcements are also available for purchase on this link.  Rental costs are as follows:

Associate and Bachelor's Degree:      Until March 19 - $50..........if ordered March 20 - 26 - $75

Master's Degree:                               Until March 19 - $70.........if ordered March 20 - 26 - $95

March 26 is the last day to place a cap and gown order.  A Herff-Jones representative will be on campus (outside of the Bookstore) on 2/10/12 from 10 to 5 p.m. to take orders as well as answer any questions.  Cap and gowns will be available for pick-up at the Bookstore beginning April 18 through April 20.

Rain Site Information

In case of rain, the Commencement ceremony will be moved indoors to the IU Southeast Activities Building.  Seating will be limited and you will receive four tickets.  Only those with rain site tickets will be given admission to the indoor ceremony.  You will receive your admission tickets when you pick up your cap and gown.  Due to seating capacity, there will be two Commencement ceremonies to accommodate graduates and their guests.
