IU Southeast Cheerleading Coaching Staff

Kaelin Abbott, Head Coach

Kaelin Abbott graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in General studies, Associate in business and a minor in supervision from Indiana University Southeast. She also cheered 4 years for the IU Southeast men’s and women’s basketball teams’ home and away games. She is entering her 4^th season of coaching the Indiana University Southeast Cheerleaders. Kaelin has cheered since she was 10 and was on the Jeffersonville High school squad that won the WCA Cheerleading Co-Ed nationals in 1999.

She has previously coached at South Central Junior High School for 2 years were she choreographed their winning routine at the Harrison County Cheerleading Competition. Kaelin also coached the Co-Ed All-Stars team at Pro Cheer and Dance Extreme with T.J Johnson. The team placed first at several competitions through out the region.

Kaelin also judges several local cheerleading competitions through out the year.

She is currently employed at Pro4mance Construction has a Marketing Representative. Kaelin and her husband Nathan reside in Sellersburg, Indiana.
