For candidates admitted after 7/15/2011 who do not earn credit for course work at IU Southeast during any one-year period will be required to meet new requirements in effect when they resume their course work at IU Southeast. Candidates with a two-year gap in coursework must meet with an advisor and reapply for admission.

Required Coursework (required courses will be rotated over a 2-year period)

  • W551 (3 credit hours) Education and Psychology of Gifted and Talented
  • W552 (3) Curriculum for the Gifted and Talented
  • W553 (3) Methods and Materials for Gifted and Talented
