Gifted Education LicenseIU Southeast School of Education offers a program of coursework leading to an Indiana K-12 Gifted and Talented Education license. The required courses will be rotated over a 2-year period: Required Coursework
* The clinical and field-based experiences (W595 Practicum) includes professional supervision and feedback as a summer clinical experience, taken through IUS, and designed to assess G&T standards related to candidate effectiveness for teaching in gifted educational settings. W551, W552 and W553 are required to be completed prior to the practicum. Exceptions must be approved by the SOE Gifted Education Coordinator, Dr Carolyn Babione.
