Counseling Program Admissions RequirementsThere are 2 Application Processes for the School Counseling Master’s Program: #1, seeking admission to the Program; and then #2, when pre-requisites are met, seeking admission to the Clinical Cohort. For candidates admitted after 7/15/2011, a two-year gap in coursework will require a new application for re-admission into any graduate program, and a mandatory meeting with a program advisor. The re-admitted candidate must then comply with any new program requirements, if any. Application #1:Apply to the School of Education Graduate School as a School Counseling Major. Acceptance into the Graduate School as a School Counseling Major will allow candidates to register for the pre-requisite courses needed before submitting Application #2, for the Clinical Cohort. Steps for Application #1--Apply to SOE Graduate School as a School Counseling Major: 1.
