The portfolio will be evaluated at the end of the semester in educational psychology, general methods/reading methods, and specific methods/student teaching.

Praxis Testing

Both Indiana and Kentucky, as well as other states, require passing scores on designated subject area competency tests--Praxis 2--before granting a teaching license.  Registration for the tests is through www.ets.org/praxis.  Our Secondary program requires passing scores before student teaching.

Consult with the Secondary Licensing Advisor to ensure the proper tests are taken.

Indiana requirements may be seen at http://www.doe.state.in.us/dps/teacherprep/testing/welcome.html.

Kentucky requirements may be seen at http://www.kyepsb.net/assessment/secondary.asp.
