(CHANGES OF PT LECTURER TO PT FACULTY)
(1) Article III,
Section 1, B2: 2.Elected Part-time Lecturers Faculty Members (pg. 2)
(2) Article VI, Section 2: (pg. 8) Representation for
Part-time Lecturer Faculty
Part-time Lecturers Faculty shall be
entitled to two representatives from two separate divisions. These shall be
elected by the Part-time Lecturers Faculty.
The persons eligible to vote for division senators
shall be the resident faculty, consisting of professors, associate professors,
assistant professors, instructors and lecturers. Administrators who have been
granted tenure by a division, but who are not automatically members of the
Senate, shall be considered as resident faculty within a division. With the exception of those persons who are
automatically members of the Senate, all those eligible to vote shall also be
eligible for election. All current faculty members who are Part-time Lecturers
Faculty are eligible to vote for, and to be elected as, Part-time
Lecturer Faculty representatives to the Faculty Senate.

Before the tenth week of the
spring semester, the President of the Faculty Senate shall elicit nominations
from the members of the faculty who are part-time Lecturers Faculty
and shall conduct the election of the two Part-time Lecturer faculty senators by mailed ballot in accordance with
the principles set forth in Article VI, Section 2 and
Article VII, Section 1.

The eighth member shall be a
representative selected by the IUS Part-time Lecturer Faculty
Association and approved by the Faculty Senate Nominating Committee.

Part-timeLecturer Faculty Association and approved by
the
Faculty Senate Nominating Committee.
