- How often are jobs posted on the IUS website?
Clerical positions are usually posted daily for a total of 10 working days.
- How long is my application / resume kept on file?
One year. However, you are encouraged to keep in contact with us and update your file as your employment history changes.
- When can I expect to hear anything regarding the status of my application / resume?
Interviews are not determined until the position closes. Normally, applicants chosen for interviews will be contacted within two weeks.
- How do I know I am under consideration for the position I applied for?
All applications and resumes are carefully reviewed to determine if the candidate meets the minimum qualifications of the position. Those candidates meeting the minimum requirements are forwarded to the hiring department.
- Do I need to take a typing test?
Typing tests are required for clerical positions. The typing test can be taken at the Human Resources Office, University Center South, Room 244, daily from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. You do not need an appointment. The typing test expires after one year.
- How do I know if my current application / resume is on file?
Call the Human Resources Office at 941-2356.
- Where can I obtain an IUS Employment Application?
An IUS Employment Application can be obtained at the Human Resources Office, University Center South, Room 244, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
