Rates & Payment Plans
Our rates are more than reasonable, especially for the amenities we offer. Prices are comparable to off-campus housing options in the surrounding community, are less expensive than campus-living at larger institutions, and are in line with residence hall options at regional universities. All rates are per semester and are charged once in fall and once in spring. Summer housing options are also available.

Some students may qualify for personal deferments on their housing fees, meaning a housing payment could be split into installments. Check the Bursar's website for detailed information.
Personal Deferments are available to all students enrolled in at least three credit hours and in good standing with the bursar's office. Deferments split an account balance into up to four installment payments. There is a $15 fee for the first deferment payment, $15 fee for the second deferment payment, and $15 for the third deferment payment. The deferment balance is calculated after all financial aid, scholarship, and sponsor authorizations have been applied.
We periodically run checks to see how much has been paid. Students who are far behind in payments will receive reminders to pay. Additionally, be aware that not paying housing charges may lead to holds being placed on the student's account which would prevent him or her for registering for classes. Students who are significantly behind in payments in late November may face removal from housing. We attempt to avoid this as much as possible, but non-payment means an inability to register for classes and therefore an ineligibility to live in student housing.
