IU SOUTHEAST CONCERT BAND
TO PRESENT SUMMER POPS CONCERT
JUNE 7 FEATURING THE
LOUISVILLE SAXOPHONE QUARTET

(New Albany, IN) - May 21 - The Indiana University Music Department will present the IU Southeast Concert Band in a Summer Pops Concert featuring a performance with the band by the Louisville Saxophone Quartet on Sunday, June 7 at 3:00 p.m. in the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the campus of IU Southeast, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students, seniors, IU Southeast faculty & staff, and are available at the Ogle Center Ticket Office, at all Ticketmaster locations, by calling (502) 361-3100, or online at ticketmaster.com.  Free parking is available only in the Dogwood Parking Lot directly in front of the Ogle Center. 

Under the direction of Donald McMahel and associate director, Nan Moore, the band will perform "Introduction & Wedding March" from The Golden Cockerel by Rimsky-Korsakov, The Water Is Wide by Rick Kirby, Capriccio For Saxophone Quartet and Band by Warren Barker, A Tribute To Kurt Weill arranged by Jerry Brubaker, Nobles Of The Mystic Shrine March by John Philip Sousa, Salute To Stephen Foster arranged by Sammy Nestico, Samba For Flutes by Eric Osterling, South Pacific Medley by Rodgers & Hammerstein, and Seventy Six Trombones by Meredith Wilson.

Free parking for the concerts is available in the Dogwood Lot only.
