Joel Gibbs (viola) first joined the Louisville Orchestra in 2005. He is also a member of Chicago's Grant Park Orchestra, and a former member of the Dallas Symphony. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Joel is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and has studied violin and viola with Lewis Rosove, Myron Kartman, and Yuan-Qing Yu.
