- Meet with your advisor.
- Check your registration appointment.
- View holds on your record.
- Select classes and alternative classes.
- Make sure you have received any necessary approvals or permissions to
enroll in classes requiring permission.
- Register for classes.
- Monitor your IU e-mail.

- The student will login to OneStart then click the Self-Service tab.

- If no appointments exist, a “no enrollment appointments” message will be
displayed. If you do not have an enrollment appointment. You need to contact the IUS Office of
the Registrar.

- Holds on your record will block your enrollment.
- Click the Holds on My Record link in the “Registration Services”
channel.

- Any holds on the record will be displayed.
|

- Select the appropriate term to
view your class permissions for that term.

- Review the information displayed on the Quick Tips to Search for a Class
page then click the Continue With Registration link at the bottom of the
page.

- The Select Enrollment Term page will open.
- Select the appropriate term from the list. If your desired term is not
displayed, contact the IUS Office of the Registrar.
- On View My Schedule page, click Add Classes.

- The Add Classes page will then be displayed.

- Click to begin
the search and display the Basic Class Search page.

- If you receive the message “Errors found” click on the link for
information about the error and how to correct it.
|

- When selecting classes, you may see some classes listed without a Select
button ( ). One of
the reasons is this course grouping has a lecture AND a lab or
discussion portion.
- You only need to select the lab or discussion. Once you’ve made that
selection, the appropriate lecture class will be added.
- If multiple offerings are available, select the preferred class.

- When you have finished adding your classes, click the View My Schedule
link to display all of your classes.

- The Drop/Update Classes page will then be displayed.
|

- Click the View My Schedule link to return to the Enrollment View My
Schedule page and confirm that the course has been removed from your
schedule. Once you have confirmed that your schedule is correct, click
the Registration Complete button
to complete the process.
- The Optional Fees for Student page will be displayed (i.e. Parking Fee,
etc.).

- Use the Swap Classes link to drop one class and add another in its
place. This process lets you add and drop at the same time instead of
having to drop then go back and add.

- From the Swap Classes page, find the class you want to drop then enter
the Class Number for the class you want to add in the Class Nbr field or
use to search for the
appropriate class.
- Click the Submit button to complete the swap. The “drop” is completed
only if the “add” is successful.
- When the “Swap Status” changes from “Pending” to “Success”, if you are
finished with Registration, click Registration Complete button to
complete the process.
