RN-B.S. in Nursing Program > Admissions to the RN-B.S.N. Program Admission to the RN-B.S.N. ProgramRegistered nurses wishing to earn a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing at Indiana University Southeast may apply online for admission to the University through the Office of Admissions. Unless otherwise specified, all Indiana University School of Nursing BSN program policies apply to RN undergraduate students. Students who have attended other colleges or universities must request that an official transcript be forwarded to the Office of Admissions. A credit transfer report (CTR) listing transferable credit will be generated by the Office of Admissions. Upon receipt of the CTR, the student should contact the nursing academic advisor to review the CTR, identify coursework to be completed, and explain the process for achieving advanced standing with credit. Call (812) 941-2283 to make an appointment with the advisor. Credit will be awarded for relevant courses completed at other accredited institutions of higher learning. Placement of RN students in nursing courses is based upon space availability, credit hours completed toward the degree, and GPA. It is particularly important for registered nurses to take courses as they become available. Failure to do so may seriously affect progression through the program. |
