Degree Requirements

Requirements for Bachelor of Arts Degree

30 credit hours in Psychology, including:

  • P101 Introductory Psychology I

  • P102 Introductory Psychology II

  • P250/P251 Research and Quantitative Methods in Psychology I and II (This is a two-semester course. The grade for this course will be given after completion of both semesters. P251 fulfills the research writing requirement for psychology majors.)

  • B452 Senior Seminar in Psychology

Must take one from Group I:

  • P325 Psychology of Learning

  • P326 Behavioral Neuroscience

  • P329 Sensation and Perception

  • P335 Cognitive Psychology

  • P407 Drugs and the Nervous System

Must take one from Group II:

  • B310 Life-Span Development

  • B378 Introduction to Industrial Psychology

  • P319 Psychology of Personality

  • P320 Social Psychology

  • P324 Abnormal Psychology

Only 6 hours from B309, P493, P494, P495 may be used for completing the requirements for the Psychology major or minor.
