Metroversity

IUS is a member of Kentuckiana Metroversity, Inc., a consortium of institutions of higher education in the Louisville metropolitan area (Including Bellarmine College, Indiana University Southeast, Jefferson Community College, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Spalding University, University of Louisville). Subject to Metroversity rules and those of the host institution, a full-time undergraduate student may register for a maximum of two course (maximum 8 credit hours) during the Fall / Spring semester only, at another member school.  Full time graduate students may take up to one course (maximum 4 credit hours) during the Fall / Spring semester only, at another member school. 

Application

Permission must be obtained from the home and host registrars before a full-time student may cross register. Metroversity forms are available from the registrar at the home institution.

Eligibility

All full-time students in good standing who have earned a minimum of twelve hours at their home institution and maintain a 2.0 GPA at the undergraduate level or 3.0 GPA at the graduate level.

Registration

Cross registration fall and spring semester will begin either one week prior to the first day of class or on the first day of class. Host institution registrar's offices have registration guidelines. Registration for courses is on a space available basis. Cross registration is not applicable to the summer sessions. Students must utilize Metroversity form available at the home institution registrar's office.

Tuition

Tuition will be assessed to the student at the rate of the student's home institution.

Grades/Credit

The host campus automatically sends official copies of grades to the student's home campus. Metroversity students are subject to all policies, rules and regulations of the host campus. Students are responsible for confirming host campus forwarding grades to home institution.
