Scott Cress (History) received the Outstanding Abstract Award  for his paper, Singing, Serving, and Sewing for the Kingdom: The Ladies' Association of Broadway Baptist Church in the Progressive Era.

I. Iyer presented Investigating the differences between the infant's attatchment relation to mother and father, with Diane Wille at the biennial meeting of the Society for Research in child Development in Denver Colorado, April 2009.
