IASS Membership Information and Guidelines

Membership in the Academy is open to any person or institution interested in the social sciences and the objectives of the Academy. The fee for institutions is on a sliding scale determined by the size of the student body. Individual memberships are $15.00 with a special student membership of $5.00 per year. 

The Academy board, consisting of the officers and twenty-seven directors representing the affiliated disciplines, meets two times a year. The board seeks as much participation as possible from the membership, and a newsletter published twice a year keeps members informed of the board's actions.
