Spanish at IU Southeast
The Spanish curriculum is designed to develop and refine Spanish communication skills within a rigorous intellectual framework that includes the study of literature, history, art, contemporary culture and film from the Spanish speaking world. Students learn communicative skills that will help them live and work effectively in the diverse, contemporary world.
Through its Spanish program, IU Southeast seeks to offer its students a firm, practical grounding in these languages, as well as a cultural knowledge of the areas of the world where they are spoken. IU Southeast Spanish courses prepare students to better understand the cultural diversity that surrounds them abroad and at home.
