Description
REPAIR TECH ( Toshiba, APPLE, ASUS, & HP)

Basic Notebook and or Tablet PC repair experience.

Will be repairing both internal and external hardware on Notebooks, Tablet PCs, and/ or Mac books.

Apple product experience preferred.

May do software installation as well.

Will be sitting for an 8 hour shift, must be able to lift and carry 20-25lbs.

Interview with the client and testing for knowledge is required for all candidates.

HELPDESK TECHNICIAN:

Answer the Help Desk phones in a courteous and friendly manner,

Enter the calls in the Help Desk database, including system configuration.

Make sure that the customer has a case number.

Make sure that the calls are picked up as quickly as possible.

Provide technical support for hardware.

Provide excellent customer service to our customers.

Interact with people on all levels.

Provide management with information regarding support activities

Escalate problems and requests as necessary to ensure resolution

Maintain an excellent level of proficiency in software and applications.

Participate in team projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of the Help Desk Department.

Routinely check voicemail and follow-up with customers.

Attend mandatory training sessions. Possibly assist in planning and conducting these sessions.


Qualifications
HELPDESK QUAILIFICATIONS:
Knowledge Skills and abilities:

A.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.

MCP, MCSE Certification or equivalent experience preferred.

CCNA Certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience configuring Motherboard/Server Setups.

Advanced knowledge of RAID 0, 1, 5, & 10.

Familiar with Data Recovery & System Backup's.

Ability to perform Customer Duplication if required.

Advanced Over clocking/Gaming skills knowledge preferred.

Must be willing to submit to background and drug screen. Must possess either HS diploma or GED.
