900 hours volunteer service commitment
Hours: 3:00-7:00PM Monday-Friday during school days and extended hours during school breaks.
AmeriCorps is a federal volunteer program that compensates High School Seniors and College students for regular volunteer service at non-profit organizations.
Duties Include: performing pre and post test surveys of fitness and dietary habits; planning and implementing Boys & Girls Club programs pertaining to the Mind, Body, and Soul (cooking clubs, tournaments, sport leagues, and group games); and completing service projects.
AmeriCorps Members will have until 8/31/2013 to complete their service commitment.
