Description
The Public Health Coordinator is responsible for emergency and disaster planning and coordination, regarding public health in Floyd County.

This job is grant funded and will average 20-30 hours per week. This job pays $19.00 per hour. This current grant period ends 6/30/2014. This job may require some evening and/or weekend meetings and/or training. The work times and days are flexible and negotiable.

The preferred candidate will have experience as a nurse, police officer, firefighter, emergency medical service technician, or in the U.S. military.

Within six months of being employed in this position the incumbent will need to complete FEMA's on-line National Incident Command Courses of NIMS 700, 100, & 200.

There are no benefits offered with this position.
