Looking for someone with energy, drive, determination, and not afraid to talk to people.
Responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within their assigned territory to meet goals. Work with Sales Executive to support bid process and follow-up communication.
Internal Sales Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying and expanding Janitorial Sales within a geographic territory by making proactive cold calls (phone and foot canvassing) to owners, brokers, property managers and tenants to generate appointments, provide product information, share sales ideas, gather marketing data, and offer sales support.
Handle incoming phone calls and requests for information, sales and marketing material, territory analysis and problem resolution in a professional and timely manner
Endorse the firm and sales initiatives and focus to meet goals through call campaigns, email campaigns and communication.
Perform competitive analysis and maintain knowledge of the building maintenance industry.
Create and tailor sales ideas and presentations based on Sales Executives needs.
Read and report on assigned industry journals.
Call on prospects and deliver janitorial service presentations when asked.
External Sales Responsibilities:
Maintain open communication with the Sales Executive, which includes a daily review of the sales, opportunities, and summarizing activities that impact the territory.
Provide support to Sales Executive in preparation for meetings including mailing necessary literature.
Schedule Sales Executive appointments with prospects as appropriate.
Maintain contact relationship management system (CRM).
Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy with the external Sales Executive.
Successful sales and/or sales support experience
Cold calling/prospecting experience a plus
Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment
Effective communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Must be ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated
Some periodic travel
