If you are not sure if you are a Transfer Student, check your Letter of Admission for confirmation.
Before you start your next steps as a Transfer Student, be sure to become familiar with the information in the Steps for All Students section.
You need to create your network identification user name and password to access computing services at IU Southeast. To set up your account, please go to the Account Management System. You will need your University Identification Number listed on your Letter of Admission. Your network identification will enable you to access information from One.IU, which will help you manage your academic life including personal information, academic services, registration and financial aid. If you need help setting up your network identification user name, please call (812) 941-2447. PLEASE NOTE: If you set up an IU guest account to check your admission status, you must set up a new IU computer account in order to register for classes and manage your student record.
View and print a copy of your Transfer Credit Report (TCR) and Academic Advisement Report (AAR). These reports show how your previous coursework has transferred to IU Southeast and how those credits apply to your degree program.
Please note that you will need to log in using your username and passphrase to view these details. Please print the TCR and AAR and bring them to your advising session.
In addition, you can view a four year Degree Map that outlines all course requirements by major. In One.IU, search for degree maps and click the link at the top of the list. Choose the Southeast campus and then search for your major(s) of choice.
Newly admitted undergraduate students at Indiana University Southeast must complete placement tests in reading, writing, mathematics, and modern languages prior to enrolling in classes. If you have transferred completed coursework in these areas do not need to test (see your Transfer Credit Report). Visit the Student Development Center for placement test dates and times.
Call the academic school listed on your Letter of Admission to schedule an advising appointment. Registration for transfer students begins in March and runs through August. Please note that your university computing accounts must be created 24 hours before your first advising appointment; your placement tests must also be completed before your appointment.
During Transfer Orientation, you will have opportunities to meet faculty, staff and other new students; learn about academic expectations; get your student ID created; purchase books; and take a campus tour. Contact Campus Life to learn more and register online.
