Alumni Association Scholarship
The IU Southeast Alumni Association will be awarding up to $6,000 in scholarship monies for 2012-2013 academic school year.
Angela Marie McIntosh Memorial Scholarship
(Deadline: February 15)
This scholarship is awarded each spring to an Elementary Education undergraduate School of Education candidate, who will be enrolled in the following spring semester, demonstrates high achievement, has submitted a FAFSA to the University's Financial Aid office, and who submits the scholarship application with at least two letters of recommendation.
Frances Beard Memorial Scholarship
(Deadline: February 15)
This scholarship is awarded in the fall for currently enrolled undergraduate Elementary Education candidates, who live in Clark County IN, and demonstrate a high level of academic achievement.
Dorothy Bickers Memorial Scholarship
(Deadline: February 15)
This scholarship is awarded each spring to an undergraduate School of Education candidate, who demonstrates high achievement, has submitted a FAFSA to the University's Financial Aid office, and who submits the scholarship application with at least two letters of recommendation.
Sony Scholarship Program
(Deadline: March 11, 2012)
This scholarship rewards the efforts of five current IU students, on any IU campus, who have achieved academically and have demonstrated financial need. Selected recipients will receive a Sony equipment package including a VAIO PC Notebook and related equipment, valued at over $1200. The application goes live on January 15, 2012.

Indiana Retired Teachers Association Scholarship
The scholarships are available to any Indiana college or university enrollee who is classified as an upper division teacher education major and who is the son/daughter, grandson/granddaughter, legal dependent or spouse of an active, retired or deceased member of the Indiana State Teachers' Retirement Fund (ISTRF). Minority Teacher and Special Education Services Scholarship Program
The Minority Teacher Scholarship was created by the Indiana General Assembly to address the critical shortage of Black and Hispanic teachers, Special Education teachers and Physical or Occupation Therapists in Indiana schools and rehabilitation facilities. An applicant must be a minority (defined as Black or Hispanic); or a student seeking Special Education teaching, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy certification; an Indiana resident; and be admitted to an eligible institution as a full-time student.
Pi Lambda Theta-Velma Pearson Memorial Scholarship
The Pearson Scholarship was created by Velma Rae Pearson in 2000 to provide scholarships to worthy scholastically endowed students who will attend IU Southeast and who have expressed a desire to go into secondary education. Delta Kappa Gamma Student Teaching Scholarship
The Delta Kappa Gamma scholarship is awarded each semester to a worthy elementary education student teacher in need of financial assistance. Applicants must complete an application at the time of the student teacher interviews at Summative Decision Point Three. Application may be picked up from SOE scholarship rack or by downloading the form.
Healthy Lifestyles Scholarship
(Deadline: May 30, 2012)
This $5000 scholarship is open to students currently enrolled as high school students or first-year college students. To be eligible for this award you must be under 25 years of age and answer both of the essay questions.
Dial My Dentist Scholarship Program
This $1000 scholarship is available to students between the ages of 16 and 21. The student must be attending College or University full-time.
Big Dig Scholarship
(Deadline: June 1, 2012)
This $3000 scholarship is for students who submit an essay that is under 1000 words and are currently in high school or in their first two years of college/university.
Indiana Industry Liaison Group
The Indiana Industry Liaison Group (IILG) is proud to announce a scholarship opportunity for students in the state of Indiana who are (1) individuals studying programs or classes related to the diversity/Affirmative Action (AA)/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO); or (2) individuals with work or volunteer experience for diversity/AA/EEO organizations. The 2012 scholarship recipient will receive $1,000.

Graduate Fellowships Available
For the 2013/2014 academic year, the School of Education Graduate Program will award a minimum scholarship of $1,000 each for 2 to 4 new first-year graduate students. Applicants must have a current Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) on file in the Financial Aid office, and submit the scholarship application with at least two letters of recommendation to the School of Education Office of the Dean.
Dr. Richard E. Riehl Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a candidate currently enrolled in the School of Education’s graduate program. This candidate must demonstrate high academic achievement, have a FASFA form on file with the Financial Aid Office, and is required to submit two letters of recommendation to the review committee.

Indiana Minority Teacher/Special Education Services Scholarship
(Application available in February 2012)
This scholarship is available to minority students (defined as Black or Hispanic) seeking a teaching certification; or any student (minority and non-minority) seeking Special Education teaching certification, or Occupational or Physical Therapy certification who is an Indiana resident and an eligible U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Knowles Science Teaching Foundation (KSTF)

KSTF Science and Mathematics Teaching Fellows are chosen from among individuals who have earned or are in the process of earning a degree in science, mathematics or engineering from a recognized institution of higher education. Fellowships are offered for individuals committed to teaching:
The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana
This scholarship is awarded to disadvantaged students, including adults, seeking postsecondary education. Applications are due January 12 to school counselors for high school seniors, and January 26 to the Community Foundation for adult non-traditional students.
Both graduating seniors and those already attending college or those who would like to attend are encouraged to apply. Students may attend any accredited institution in the United States. Residents of Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties are eligible. The minimum scholarship will be $2,000 each for 10 to 20 awards.

Harrison County Community Foundation/Pearson Graduate Studies Scholarship
(Deadline: February 15)
This scholarship is awarded to students who are currently enrolled at IU Southeast in a graduate level program, have at least one year of teaching experience, be employed by one of the three Harrison County school corporations, have a current Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) on file in the Financial Aid office, and submit the scholarship application with at least two letters of recommendation. Awarded each Fall and Spring; Fall winners announced in November; Spring winners announced in March.
WHAS Crusade for Children Scholarships
(Deadline: January 29)
These scholarships are awarded to candidates enrolled in the IU Southeast graduate program in special education. Applicants must complete an application including a financial need statement.
