Graduate Advising Sessions

Graduate Admission Application Deadlines:

  • Summer Session 1: Rolling application Review up until ten days before the term begins.
  • Summer Session 2: Rolling application Review up until ten days before the term begins.
  • Fall: Rolling application Review up until ten days before the term begins.
  • Spring: Rolling application Review up until ten days before the term begins.

Graduate Advising/Licensing

  1. If you need individual advising for the MS, licensure, or Rank I programs contact Laura Dunlevy at lldunlev@ius.edu or (812) 941-2386 and she will schedule you for a meeting with Dr. Robin Fankhauser.
  2. If you wish to attend an initial advising session, please see the schedule below.
  3. If you have a question or concern about your license application, contact rfankhau@ius.edu using your IU email account.  Please provide as much information as possible to assist her in responding to your request.
  4. If you are seeking permission for a class, contact rfankhau@ius.edu using your IU email account.  If it is for E590, S590 or X590, please follow the directions found in the online schedule.

Master of Science in Education, Elementary/Secondary major:

Interested candidates must attend an advising session. Does not lead to initial license. No reservation needed. Please print and bring a copy of the Graduate Studies Handbook with you when planning to attend an Advising Session. Allow approximately 90 minutes for the session.

Before attending a Counseling advising session, read the Counseling program information. Allow approximately 90 minutes for the session.
