Travel Outside the U.S.
All students must have their I-20 or IAP-66 signed by a Foreign Student Advisor before leaving the United States. This signature enables students to return to the U.S. - even if they are just traveling into Canada or Mexico. By signing the visa document, the advisor is certifying the student's full-time enrollment and good standing at Indiana University Southeast.
To have your I-20 signed for travel, please contact Jodie Beatty in the Office of Admissions. Students should bring their passports and I-20s (or IAP-66s) to the meeting. Make appointments for at least two weeks before departure .
