Transfer Students - Enroll
Newly admitted transfer students need to create their network identification user name and password for computing services at IU Southeast. Visit the Account Management System at https://itaccounts.iu.edu (be sure to have your University Identification Number which is listed on your Certificate of Admission).
Your network identification will enable you to access information from OneStart to help you manage your academic life. Registration, bill payment and your Transfer Credit Report are only available through OneStart.
Please note: Students need to create their accounts at least 24 hours before taking placement tests or meeting with their academic advisors!
Transfer students can see how their credit has transferred to IU Southeast on their Transfer Credit Report. You may view your Transfer Credit Report at http://onestart.iu.edu, after setting up your network ID and password.
The report can be found by clicking on the Services tab to the right of the OneStart logo, the the Self-Service link on the menu bar on the left. Next, click "Go to Student Center". Once in the Student Center, click My Academics and Grades, then View Academic Credit Report.
If you have questions about the transfer credit report, please call the Admissions Office at 812-941-2212. Questions about how your credits will apply toward your IU degree should be directed to your academic advisor.
Newly admitted undergraduate students at Indiana University Southeast must complete placement tests in reading, writing, mathematics, and modern languages prior to enrolling in classes. Students who have transferred completed coursework in these areas do not need to test (see your Transfer Credit Report).
Visit www.ius.edu/sdc for a complete listing of the most current placement test dates and times.
Transfer students must call the academic school listed on their Certificate of Admission for advising and registration. Registration for new and transfer students runs from March to August for Summer and Fall semesters, and October to January for Spring semester.
Please note: Your university computing accounts must be created 24 hours before your first advising appointment & any required placement tests, completed.
Before you leave campus, stop by the Bursar's office with your photo ID and get your UCARD. All IU Southeast students are required to have a UCARD for student identification, but the card is also your library card and works as a debit card around campus. Visit www.ius.edu/ucard for more info!
All degree-seeking students new to IU Southeast (including transfer students and intercampus transfer students) are expected to attend Orientation. During Orientation, you will be officially inducted into the IU Southeast community. You will also have opportunities to meet faculty, staff and other new students; learn about academic expectations; locate your classrooms; get your student ID created; purchase books; and take a campus tour. Visit New Student Programs to learn more and register online.
