VOTE IN THE TRUSTEE ELECTION If you graduated from Indiana University, you have a say in how the university is run. All you need to do is vote in the annual Trustee Election. The trustees oversee the university, and three of the trustees are elected directly by IU alumni. Voting begins on May 1 each year and runs until 11 a.m. EDT June 30. IU LICENSE PLATE RISES TO NUMBER ONE OVERALL After two decades of leading the collegiate category in number of license plates on the road, the IU plate in 2011 vaulted to the top of all speciality plates in the state of Indiana, according to a January report from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. For each IU plate sold, a portion of the revenue goes to the IU Alumni Association, which manages IU's license-plate program and uses the funds for a wide range of programs and services. BRIDGE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM ANNOUNCED The Indiana University Alumni Association is launching a "Bridge Membership" program to help unemployed alumni. This complimentary one-year membership provides access to online career services, the alumni directory for networking, and upcoming webinars and group coaching sessions. Alumni must call the Indiana University Alumni Association and speak to the membership department to sign up for this program, they may not sign up online.
