Commencement

Every year, Commencement at Indiana University Southeast is the largest event on campus -- bringing friends and families together to celebrate the academic achievements of campus graduates.  

The graduation setting , on the stage of the Ogle Center amphitheater, overlooking the knobs of Southern Indiana, is one of the most scenic of any campus commencements of the University.  The stage and surrounding areas held a record crowd of over 6,000 attending the ceremony in 2007.  

On Monday, May 5, 2008, thousands will gather again to witness the conferral of degrees.  The new graduates will join the ranks of more than 18,000 other IU Southeast alumni, who are now represented in all fifty states and at least nine foreign countries.
