Biography

James Kauffman joined the IU Southeast faculty in 1988. His research interests include crisis communications, NASA public relations, and the rhetoric of staffed space exploration. He serves on the editorial board of Public Relations Review. Married 30 years, he has two sons and is an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
