Women’s and gender studies students take an active interest in pursuing research and engaging in community events.

  • 16 IU Southeast students presented their research and creative work at the 25th Annual IU Women’s and Gender Studies Conference on April 12, 2013 at IU Bloomington.
  • In Spring 2013, Teresa Lee interned at The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, KY. She assisted in created educational for their programs.
  • In Fall 2012, Kayla Spaulding, a 2012 graduate, will attend Indiana State University to obtain her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • In Spring 2012, 25 undergraduate students at IU Southeast participated in the 24th Annual IU Undergraduate Women’s and Gender Studies Conference.
  • In Summer 2011, Kayla Spaulding completed an internship at Planned Parenthood of Kentucky.
  • In Spring 2011, 14 undergraduate students at IU Southeast participated in the 23rd Annual IU Undergraduate Women’s and Gender Studies Conference.
