Accessible Features


The most accessible entrance to Hillside Hall is #1 which takes you to the ground floor. This entrance has a level entrance, a 58 inch-wide doorway and an automatic door. Entrance #2 leads into the MBA wing. It has a 37 inch doorway and currently no automatic door, but it has been put on the priority list to get one. Entrance #3 leads to the basement of the building and several business faculty offices. There is a level entrance here with a 33inch-wide doorway but no automatic door.

  • Width of classroom doors is 40 inches.

  • The elevator in this building meets ADA Accessibility Guidelines. The height of the highest button is 42 inches and there are Braille markers.
     
  • The restrooms on all levels of this building meet ADA Accessibility Guidelines. 

  • There are pay phones located on the first and third floors. The height of the coin slots on the pay phones are 54 inches (first) and 55 inches (third).
     
  • Water fountains in this building are at a height of 37 inches.
     
  • There is an emergency phone on the third floor on the left hand side as soon as you get off the elevator. The height of the button is 54 inches.
