March 31, 2008 – Congratulations to Andrea Chambers on being named a NAIA Division II
Women’s Basketball Scholar Athlete. ( More Information )
Feb. 29, 2008 – The women’s basketball season ended on Friday as the
team fell in the semifinals of the KIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament to No.
3 Berea College 84-79. The Grenadiers
were led Tia Wineinger with 16 points and eight rebounds. Andrea Chambers and
Tiffiani Slaughter were both named KIAC All-Conference. Congratulations Ladies!

Feb. 24, 2008 – Congratulations to Alden Krausse on being
named this week’s Arby’s Player
of the Week.
Feb. 23, 2008 – The Grenadiers of IU Southeast clinched the second
seed in the upcoming KIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament at Asbury College
with a 69-64 win over Berea College on Saturday. The Grenadiers were led by
Alden Krause with a personal-best 17 points and five rebounds. Tia Wineinger
added 10 points to help lead IU Southeast (19-11, 6-3 KIAC) to a win in its

upcoming KIAC tournament.

Feb. 19, 2008 – IU Southeast defeated Kentucky Christian College 62-56
on Tuesday night to improve to 17-12 overall. The Grenadiers were led by
Tiffiani Slaughter with 18 points. Andrea Chambers added 16 points and
Brittany Caple added 12 to lead to Grenadiers to victory. The Grenadiers will
finish their regular season on Saturday when they host Berea College at 1 p.m. as
apart of 2008 IU Southeast Homecoming festivities. All fans are encouraged to
wear white on Saturday as we “white out” the Activities Building. ( Box Score )
Feb. 15, 2008 – Valentine’s Day proved to be sweet for the Grenadiers as
they defeated Spalding University 63-59 in overtime on Thursday night. IU
Southeast was led by Tiffiani Slaughter with 18 points and four blocks.
Lauren Brim added nine points and 11 rebounds for IU Southeast. The team
(16-12, 5-3 KIAC) will be back in action next Tuesday night when it hosts
Kentucky Christian at 7 p.m.

Feb. 8, 2008 – IU Southeast defeated the University of Northwestern
Ohio on Friday night 66-58. The Grenadiers were led by Whitney Duncan with 14
points and two steals. Tiffiani Slaughter, Brittany Caple and Andrea Chambers
each added 11 points respectfully for the Grenadier’s cause. IU Southeast
improves to 15-12 (5-3 KIAC) with Friday’s win on UNOW and Saturday’s forfeit
victory over IU Northwest. The team
will be back in action on when they travel to Spalding on Tuesday night for a
7 p.m. game.

Feb. 6, 2008 – IU Southeast earned a tough road win at Asbury College
on Tuesday night by defeating the Eagles 74-58. The Grenadiers were led by
Whitney Duncan (15 pts.), Andrea Chambers (14 pts.) and Alden Krausse (11
pts.). The Grenadiers (13-12, 5-3 KIAC) shot 41 percent from the field and 47
percent from behind the arc. The team will travel to the University of
Northwestern Ohio for a 6 p.m. game on Friday ( Box Score )

Feb. 3, 2008 – Congratulations to Andrea Chambers on being named this week’s Arby’s Player of the Week.
Feb. 2, 2008 – IU Southeast defeated Alice Lloyd College 68-57 on
Saturday afternoon. The Grenadiers (12-12, 4-3 KIAC) were led by Andrea
Chambers with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals in 32 minutes of play.
The Grenadier defense forced 24 Alice Lloyd turnovers. Tiffiani Slaughter
added 16 points and four rebounds to help guide the team to victory. IU
Southeast will be back in action next Tuesday when they travel to Asbury
College for an 8 p.m. conference game. ( Box Score )
Jan. 26, 2008 – The Grenadiers defeated Alice Lloyd College 80-53 on
Saturday to improve to 11-12 (3-3 KIAC). IU Southeast was led by Andrea
Chambers with 21 points and two rebounds. Tiffiani Slaughter added 17 points.
The Grenadiers will be back in action next Saturday when square off with
Alice Lloyd College again at home in New Albany at 2 p.m. ( Box Score )
