Women’s Tennis
Sept. 28, 2008 – Congratulations to Lauren Becher for being named this week’s Arby’s ® Player of the Week!
Sept. 27, 2008 – The IU Southeast
women’s tennis team’s unbeaten streak continues as the Grenadiers defeated
Kentucky Wesleyan 6-3 on the road on Saturday morning. The Grenadiers (4-0,
2-0 KIAC) return to conference play next Thursday (10/2) when they travel to
Midway College for a 4:30 p.m. KIAC tennis match.
Sept. 25, 2008 – IU Southeast defeated Berea College 9-0 on Thursday
night in Berea. The Grenadiers (3-0, 2-0 KIAC) travel to Owensboro Ky. on
Saturday to play Kentucky Wesleyan at 10:00 a.m.
Sept. 23, 2008 – Congratulations to Britta Oliver for being named this
week’s KIAC
Player of the Week!
Sept. 16, 2008 – IU Southeast defeated Midway College 8-1 at home in
New Albany on Tuesday night to earn the team’s first conference win of the
season. The Grenadiers (2-0, 1-0 KIAC) will be back in action this week when
they travel to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the National Regional
Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Tournament beginning on Thursday.

to Brooklyn Becher for being named this week’s Arby’s ® Player of the Week!
September 9, 2008 – IU Southeast defeated Hanover College
7-2 at home on Tuesday night to earn the team’s first win of the season. The
Grenadiers (1-0) will be back in action this weekend when they travel to
Franklin, Indiana to compete in the Franklin College Doubles Invitational
Tournament on Sunday morning (9/14)

May 27, 2008 – Congratulations
to Lauren Becher, Abby Enteman and Courtney Walker on being named to the 2008
KIAC All-Scholar Team with a cumulative 3.25 GPA or higher. Great job!
May 3, 2008 – The IU Southeast women’s tennis season came to a close on Saturday
when the Grenadiers fell 5-0 to Union College in the championship game of the
NAIA Region XII Tournament. The team finished 11-5 overall on the season and
7-0 in the KIAC. Congratulations on an outstanding season.
April 26, 2008 – Congratulations to the IU Southeast women’s tennis
team for winning the 2008 KIAC Tennis Tournament in New Albany. The
Grenadiers won at every flighted position. Jillian Becher was also named KIAC
Tennis Player of the
Year during the tournament.

Oct. 21, 2007 – Congratulations to Britta Oliver for

Player of the Week!
Oct. 20, 2007 – IU Southeast defeated Berea College 9-0 on Saturday to
improve to 8-0 overall and 5-0 KIAC. With the victory the Grenadiers end
their fall season of competition. The Grenadiers will be back in action on
February 15, 2008 when they host Georgetown College at the Louisville Boat

Player of the Week!
September 27, 2007 – The Indiana University Southeast women’s tennis team
defeated Bellarmine University
6-3 on Thursday night to improve to
3-0, 1-0 KIAC.

September 14, 2007 – The Indiana University Southeast women’s tennis
team defeated Midway College on Friday afternoon 9-0. The Grenadiers are now
2-0 (1-0 KIAC) and will be back in action on Sunday when the team will
compete in the Franklin College Doubles Tournament.
