IU Southeast's MBA program was rated #1 in the Greater Louisville Area.

BusinessWeek Best Part-Time MBA graphicIn 2013, IU Southeast School of Business moved up 31 spots in Bloomberg's BusinessWeek Part-Time MBA rankings and is ranked 7th in the Midwest region. We are the highest ranked Part-Time MBA Program in the Greater Louisville area. Our student survey ranking is 11th in the nation. In recent years, we have been ranked as high as 9th overall in the nation, higher than any other program in our region or state. In addition, the program received the highest possible score of A+ for teaching quality and caliber of classmates.

"Although achieving high visibility in rankings is not an explicit goal of our school, we are nonetheless very pleased to be recognized in this manner. This elite ranking among the best business schools in the country is an endorsement of the quality of our faculty and students and attests to the efforts that have been put forth to create a rigorous yet flexible MBA program," said IU Southeast Business School Dean Jay White. "Being recognized as the top-ranked Part-Time Professional MBA program in the Greater Louisville region is especially exciting when you consider the attention to detail with which Business Week used in compiling its rankings."

MBA National Rankings

The BusinessWeek rankings are based on three measures of quality. First, a survey measured student satisfaction with their MBA experience. Second, an academic quality score was developed using six equally weighted measures: average GMAT score, average work experience, the percentage of all teachers in the part-time MBA program who are tenured, average class size in core business classes, the number of business electives available to part-time MBA students, and the programs completion rate. Third, post-MBA outcomes were measured by the percentage of survey respondents who said their program was "completely" or somewhat responsible for them achieving their goals.

The IU Southeast School of Business also offers a Masters of Science in Strategic Finance (MSSF). Like our nationally-ranked Part-Time MBA program, the MSSF was designed for working professionals, offers leading-edge, practical knowledge, and allows the flexibility to pursue a challenging degree while balancing work and personal goals. A dual MBA/MSSF option is also offered and courses are available both at our main campus in New Albany and our Graduate Center located just minutes from downtown Louisville.
