Welcome to New Student Programs

If you were recently admitted to Indiana University Southeast, congratulations! You’re ready for the next step toward academic success.

First-year students are required to attend a STAIR (Student Testing, Advising, Information and Registration) session. STAIR sessions will be offered from April through August. Attend early to secure your schedule of classes!  Click here to register for a STAIR session.

Transfer students must call their academic school to schedule an advising appointment to register for classes. Your school’s phone number is listed on your certificate of admission. Those not transferring in college level English or Math credits are required to take placement tests before your advising appointment. Visit the Student Development Center for more information.

Orientation 2008! All new students are expected to attend Orientation. This year’s one-day Orientation program is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2008. Mark your calendars! First-year students will receive additional information about Orientation during their STAIR program. Transfer students will receive additional information from their advisor.
