First Year Seminar
Your First Year Seminar course is a 1 credit hour course designed to enhance your academic and social integration into college.
Each First Year Seminar class is limited to 20 students, so you have an opportunity to make a deeper connection with your classmates and professor. Course topics include but are not limited to improving study techniques, enhancing networking and time management skills, developing leadership, and incorporating social opportunities into your college experience.
The first semester is the best time to take a First Year Seminar, so talk to your academic advisor about which First Year Seminar courses best fit your program of study.
