How can I pay for graduate school?
Graduate school can be very expensive and it is important to know how you are going to pay for it.
Below are a few options you have for financing your graduate school education:
- Pay for school out of pocket. (pay as you go)
- Obtain a job that offers tuition assistance.
- Obtain a Graduate Assistantship (GA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) position that will pay for your tuition and possibly housing. (Contact the graduate school of the program you wish to pursue.)
- Use Financial Aid – If you want to take out student loans you should start the process before March 1st prior to the year you would like to attend graduate school.
