Job Description:

Assist patrons in the public computer labs with: the use of web browsers and access to websites; Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint;printing web page content and various other document formats; the use of flash drives and saving and retrieving files from them; simple CD/DVD burning tasks.

Job Qualifications:

Must like working with people of all ages, education and computer skill levels. Good or better-than-average knowledge or working understanding of the following: Microsoft Windows XP operating system; file system in use on Microsoft Windows XP; Web browsers (Internet Explorer & Firefox); Internet infrastructure; and common search engines.
