Indiana University Southeast’s 44th Commencement will be moved to the rain site because of weather.
To accommodate students and guests, two Commencement ceremonies will be held on Monday, May 6th, at the IU Southeast Activities Building.
Noon doors open at 11:15 a.m. - Rain Site Commencement for the following schools:
4 p.m. doors open at 3:15 p.m. - Rain Site Commencement for the following schools:
The post-Commencement reception will be moved to the Library. Receptions will be held after both ceremonies.
Guest tickets are required.
Graduates were given four rain site tickets when they picked up their caps and gowns. In order to comply with fire code, we cannot allow non-ticketed guests. However, everyone is welcome in the overflow seating area located in Hillside Hall, room 104. The ceremony also will be streaming live as a pilot program on the IU Southeast YouTube page, youtube.com/iusoutheast.
Graduates should arrive 45 minutes early.
All graduates are asked to arrive at the gym 45 minutes before the start of their commencement ceremony. Graduates should be dressed in regalia and should enter the gym on the lowest level.
