Normally the holder of a baccalaureate degree who wishes to pursue a further educational goal is encouraged to become qualified for admission to a graduate degree program. In certain cases, however, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management may admit a baccalaureate degree holder to candidacy for a second baccalaureate degree. When such admission is granted, the candidate must earn at least 26 additional hours in residence and meet the requirements of the division and the department in which he/she is a candidate. He/she must apply for undergraduate admission and meet all requirements as stated under transfer applicants.
The above policies also apply to holders of bachelor's degrees who wish to pursue associate's degrees and to holders of associate's degrees who wish to pursue a second associate's degree.
