Adam W. Herbert Presidential Scholars Award up to $12,000 /year

The Adam W. Herbert Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship at Indiana University Southeast.  This $6,000 renewable
scholarship also provides an additional $6,000 for students living on campus,$1,500 towards a study aboard program, and a laptop. A separate application is required and should be submitted to Financial Aid Office in early January.

Brian Hill Scholarship up to $500 Chemistry majors who have successfully completed second semester of freshman chemistry for majors and its labs, both semesters of organic chemistry and its labs, the first semester of analytical chemistry lecture. Minimum 3.5 chemistry GPA and outstanding overall GPA. Currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours of chemistry courses. Award will be given to senior, half in fall, half in spring. Expected to fulfill chemistry degree requirements at IU Southeast. Failure to do so will result in loss of second semester half of award. No School of Natural Sciences

Chancellor's Medallion Leadership Award up to $6,000 (based on tuition)

Awarded by the chancellor. Students who will be a senior in the upcoming academic year and will be enrolled full-time are eligible to apply. Students must complete a separate application, and list:

  1. the extra-curricular activities they are participating in at IU Southeast and any offices held or special accomplishments in those organizations
  2. extra-curricular and leadership activities in which they participated in high school
  3. civic and non-university volunteer activities in which they have participated
  4. any awards or special recognitions they have received in connection with the above.
  5. at least 3 letters of recommendation from former professors or teachers and/or community leaders.

Chancellor's Student Leader Scholarship up to $3,500

The Chancellor's Student Leader Scholarship is an award for outstanding, civic-minded sophomores and juniors who will be attending IU Southeast in fall 2014 and spring 2015.  This student must have demonstrated the notion of good citizenship by being active in their school and local community and exhibited a concern for others in their community and in the world through their activities.  Students must fill out a separate application and list:

  1. Brief statement of philosophy of service
  2. Listing of community service activities (college and high school)
  3. Listing of extra-curricular activities (college and high school)
  4. Two (2) letters of recommendation:
    • 1st - a supervisor / organizer of a community service project in which the student was  recently involved
    • 2nd  -  a professor who knows the student well

Mary Lou Kraus Jacobi Memorial Scholarship Tuition only-up to 30 credit hours per academic year, stipend for uniform as junior, stipend for senior pictures. Naomi K. Rasmussen Music Scholarship up to $5,000 Music awards will be given to students on the basis of audition and student's record of experience and success in musical performance.
