The Chancellor serves as the campus’s chief executive officer and reports directly to the President of Indiana University. The Chancellor oversees a Cabinet of four Vice Chancellors, as well as a Special Assistant for Development and an Affirmative Action Officer/Trainer, for the following areas:
- Administrative Affairs
- Academic Affairs
- Information Technology
- Student Affairs
- Office of Equity and Diversity
- Community Engagement and Outreach
The Office of the Chancellor exercises executive and administrative direction over:
- Institutional policy
- Strategic planning
- Faculty and staff administration
- Budgeting
- Development
- General administration
