Having moved back to Southern Indiana in May 2012, Pat More previously lived in Floyd County from 1981 – 1989, and he currently resides in Charlestown with his best friend and wife of 39 years, Rosemary. They have three grown children – Sarah Rader, Matthew, and Stacy Shankle – along with four beautiful grandchildren. His family also resided in here from 1996 – 1998, during which time Pat served on the staff at Northside Christian Church as the minister of small groups and adult education.
He is a 1976 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Pat has more than 34 years in the electrical utility industry and has held roles in engineering, management, and account management, in addition to his current role in Clarksville as the District Manager where he oversees community relations, economic development, and the Duke Energy Foundation in Floyd, Clark, Harrison, Crawford, and Washington counties.
Pat is presently serving on the board of directors of One Southern Indiana which has combined both the chamber and economic development functions into one highly effective organization. He also serves as a member of the Economic Development Council. He has also been asked to serve on the Region 10 Workforce Board representing Harrison County. This board represents six counties in Southern Indiana – Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, and Washington. The Workforce Board is dedicated to help build a more skilled and competitive workforce in our region.
