Distinguished Research & Creativity Award: Junior Faculty

This award recognizes outstanding scholarly or creative work and may be based on an especially noteworthy achievement (e.g., a well-received book or exhibit) or on the body of work produced in the early years of an academic career (e.g., a series of articles or a number of performances). The Research & Grants Committee will receive nominations, evaluate supporting materials, and select the winner of the award. All faculty members who hold the rank of Assistant Professor are eligible for nomination.

The Committee encourages nominations from all members of the University community and especially from colleagues who can provide knowledgeable evaluations of the merits of the work on which the nominations are based. The Committee requests the nominations include a short statement of the reasons for the nomination, as well as (optionally) a curriculum vitae.  The candidates will be asked to provide supporting materials.

Please submit this form to the Chancellor’s Office by Friday, November 28, 2014.
