Caesar’s Foundation Supports the Common Experience

A Grant from the Caesar’s Foundation of Floyd County Supports the Common Experience

Cliff Staten, former chair of the Common Experience program committee at IU Southeast, announced that the Caesar’s Foundation has issued a $12,500 grant to the program. The generous contribution was officially presented in the Library on Monday, June 25, 2007.

One of the main goals of the Common Experience program is to develop an intellectual discourse that will bind and strengthen the faculty, staff, students, and local community.

The Caesar’s Foundation’s generous contribution will be used to help cover the cost of the Common Experience, including speaker fees, promotions, and other forms of honoraria.
