Welcome to the Japan Center

In the Greater Louisville area, the Japan Center (JC) at Indiana University Southeast hopes to be a bridge between the people of our two distinctive cultures. In the interest of promoting cooperation and understanding, we offer an ever-increasing variety of services to guests, area residents and local businesses. We pride ourselves, as well, on being an excellent resource for families, students and businesses with special needs.

Established in 1988 as the Japanese Cultural Center, the organization was started with the generous support both of the Greater Louisville Economic Development Partnership and the Southern Indiana Development Council. It is administered by the Division of Continuing Studies here at Indiana University Southeast.
